Hand-built using Laguna's WC-379 B-Mix Clay. This piece received the "BEST SCULPTURE," award at the 2009 AMOCA-ACS, DIVERSITY IN CLAY EXHIBIT, The American Museum of Ceramic Arts. Dimensions: 24"(W) x 47"(H) wet / 21"(W) X 33"(H) fired
David Gilbaugh - Orange Oak Stump
This hand-built sculptured lamp base is made with Laguna's WC-886 B-Mix with Grog Paper Clay, fired to Cone 10 reduction. The piece was finished with black stain brushed in crevices, water washed iron, and rutile stain throughout and Winokur Yellow glaze on bark surfaces. Dimensions: 9" (W) x 17"(H)

David Gilbaugh - Elephant
This hand-built sculptured fountain is made with Laguna’s B-Mix with Grog Paper Clay, fired to Cone 10 reduction. The piece was finished with iron, rutile, and cobalt oxide stains, Winokur Yellow. Dimensions 12"(W) x 22"(H)

(a pre-Simulationist -theme) This hand-built statuette is made with Laguna’s B-Mix with Grog Paper Clay, fired to Cone 10 reduction, and Laugna’s WC-428 Babu Porcelain Clay for the face. The piece was finished with iron, rutile, and cobalt oxide stains. Dimensions: 4"(W) X 8"(H)
