Patricia Ferber - Anagama Vessel Form
“Anagama Vessel Form”
(18” x 6” x 7”)
Hand built in 2008 with WC-899 B-Mix Woodfire Clay, "Shino" glaze. Using a plaster mold and slabs, the vessel shape was formed. The spiral was hand built over a tube, cut and stretched. Wood fired in Fred Olsen’s, Anagama kiln in reduction to cone 11-12.
Patricia Ferber - Abstracted Vessel
“Abstracted Vessel”
(26” x 10.5” x 8.5”)
Hand built in 2008 with WC-843 Soldate-60 Clay, MS-107 Nile White Oxide Stain. Using a plaster mold and slabs, the vessel shape was formed. The rods, extruded, and the spiral built over a tube, cut, and stretched. Gas fired Oxidation to Cone 5.

Hand built / wheel thrown in 2007 with WC-843 Soldate-60 Clay, MS-96 Dynasy Red Glaze, MS-71 French Blue Glaze. Gas fired Oxidation to Cone 5.
Patricia Ferber - Peace Sphere

Hand built in 2003 with WC-843 Soldate-60 Clay, glazed with Laguna low fire glaze. Using slabs over a large metal globe the piece was built using two halves and assembled. Gas fired Oxidation to Cone 06.
Patricia Ferber - Yellow Shoe Landscape
“Yellow Shoe Landscape”
(25” x 23” x 5”)
Hand built in 2001 with brick clay, EM-1021 Sunburst Glaze. Using un-cut wet brick slabs, the pieces are cut by using a saw-all. Built in sections and attached with metal rods that are fastened with epoxy into the piece. Gas fired Oxidation to Cone 05.
