Slip-O-Matic Slip Mixer Reclaimer 55 gallon. $395

Save money! If you throw out your scraps and broken green ware you are losing money. If you tried to remix scraps in a smaller container and had problems, it may be that the volume you were trying to mix was too small. The small size of the mixer magnifies any errors of over and under deflocculating. With over 20 years of mixing and reclaiming slip, I will offer you simple advice and direction.

If you wish to mix your own slip, this mixer works well. I have used this for mixing my own slip and saved a lot of money.

Three mixing propellers are spaced to make the slip move and mix properly. To properly mix slip, you need a specific type of vortex action. The shaft and propellers are stainless steel. Plugs into standard wall plug, I used a 20 amp breaker. Small enough to fit in a corner of your studio.

The metal stand raises the mixer so you can use 5 gallon buckets for storage or distribution of newly made or reclaimed slip.

This is in good condition and can pay for itself many times over.

May be the best investment in your studio you could make.
